AVIC International Hotels Lanka Limited, a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and a Global 500 company recently launched AVIC Astoria Towers 1 and 2 and announced the completion of these ‘superstructures’ at an event which took place on 12th August, 2017. Graced by a distinguished gathering of company officials. The event showcased the laying of the final layer of concrete on the topmost floor of one of the towers. The event was held ceremoniously at the Astoria site in Colombo 03.
The timely completion of Towers 1 and 2 or as they have been dubbed, the ‘Superstructures’, marks yet another achievement from AVIC with regards to swift implementation with building. By the time the project is complete, the Astoria will be built high in the form of 468 luxury apartments and 4 duplexes within two towers overlooking spectacular views of both, the Galle Face and the city.
It has to also be noted that three of the towers will showcase living space for residents whilst the fourth one would be committed to the benefit of prospective investors who hope to establish their own offices and business establishments.
Immense levels of planning and further enhancement has gone towards uplifting the original design outline for the office tower and future investors who would seek out an office space here would be glad to know that project value has been projected to increase over the coming period of time. The Astoria is expected to be complete by the August of 2017.
